What commercial flooring does MJNI install?
MJNI Projects installs vinyl plank, vinyl tile, laminate, hardwood and tile in commercial spaces across Fort McMurray and Wood Buffalo, and finishes the job with vinyl wall base. MJNI installs the product your spec or your landlord calls for, or helps you choose one that suits the traffic in the space.
What prep does a concrete slab need before new flooring?
The old flooring and adhesive come off first, then cracks, holes and high spots are dealt with so the slab is flat, clean and dry. Most flooring failures, like peeling vinyl or cracked tile, trace back to the slab underneath, which is why MJNI checks it before any new floor goes down.
Can you repair part of a floor instead of replacing all of it?
Often, yes. A few damaged vinyl tiles, a section of plank or a run of loose wall base can usually be replaced on its own, as long as matching material is available. MJNI handles those repairs as small jobs, and will tell you honestly when the whole floor needs to be replaced.
