MJNI Projects Inc performed very professionally with great communication and excellent onsite project management. They earned our confidence during the Tenant Improvement and Restoration projects at our Timberlea and Synergy Pharmacies. We Highly recommend them.
Whose permit applies to a commercial job in Fort McKay?
It depends on the land. The hamlet is part of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, so RMWB permits apply there. Fort McKay First Nation reserve land has been under the Nation's own Land Code since March 1, 2023, so work on reserve land starts with its Lands and Leasing Department.
Does MJNI take work at the Fort McKay industrial park?
Yes. The Alex & Alice Boucher Industrial Park, owned by Fort McKay First Nation with Waiward Capital, has more than 200 acres of leasable space with direct access to Highway 63. MJNI takes office build-outs, steel stud framing and drywall, ceilings, flooring and repairs for the businesses there.
